Make girls'
health, make sense.
Rerein is the missing translation layer between girls, their bodies and the adults trying to support them.
We take the confusing health science terminology about periods, hormones, body changes and body image, and translate it into language girls actually use, understand and relate to.
We Translate Textbook Terminology into Girl Talk
1. What is actually happening?
Not having to Google:
“I would like to understand fluctuations in ovarian steroid hormones.”
More like:
“how have my boobs doubled in size within 2 days?” 😂
(much better place to start).
2. We go and get the complicated bit 🔍
• What’s happening.
• Why it’s happening.
• How that might show up.
• What could help.
(we take the science seriously).
3. And translate it into relateable language 👄
We try and understand what might help, what you can try, what you might notice next and when something deserves more support.
Until eventually... “Ahh."
Girls should grow up confident in their bodies, not confused by them.
Rerein started with a thought: why are we taught so much about our bodies without ever really being taught how to understand living in one?
So much health information already exists, but that doesn’t mean it lands.
Most girls learn about their bodies far too late (usually after something's already gone wrong). We believe they need better translation.
Our bodies are doing extraordinary things 24/7.
The education should finally match them.
That’s what we want to change 🩷
We translate the health information into words that actually make sense in real life.
Body OS is her own interactive guide to growing up. Periods, cycles, hormones, food, fuel, body image and all the “wait, is this normal?” questions, translated into language she recognises, in a format that feels like her phone, not a biology lesson.

“Progesterone rises after ovulation to prepare the endometrium for possible implantation.”
Ovulation: done 🥚 (an egg has been released from your ovaries)
Progesterone: getting your uterus ready for a potential pregnancy (just in case 👶)
No diagrams from a 1997 textbook.
Just the actual answers to: what is a period, why does my mood do that, and why does the same outfit feel different today to yesterday.

Schools say: “We’re legally expected to teach more of this, but teachers don’t necessarily know how.”
Parents say: “I want to help her, but I don’t know what to say or when to say it.”
Girls say: “Please just tell me whether this weird thing happening to my body is normal.”
Existing resources say: “Menstruation is the shedding of the endometrial lining...”
